Pursuant to Rule 13 of the Uniform Rules for Juvenile Court regarding Use of Electronic Devices in Courtrooms and Recording of Judicial Proceedings, the undersigned hereby requests permission to use a recording device in Courtroom _____ in order to record images and/or sound during (all) (the following portions) of the proceedings in the above captioned case/calendar.

Consistent with the provisions of Rule 13, the undersigned desires to use the following described recording device(s): ___________________. The proceedings that the undersigned desires to record commence on (date). Subject to direction from the court regarding possible pooled coverage, the undersigned wishes to use this device in the courtroom on (date). 2. How do I file a complaint against a child?

You will need to have the child's name, age or birthday, address, and the name of the person with whom the child lives. Come to the Juvenile Court of Glynn County, 11 Judicial Lane, Suite 150, Brunswick, GA 31520 and ask to meet with a court officer.

7. How can I become emancipated?

You will first need to fill out a questionnaire so that a determination can be made whether you qualify. You must be able to show that you are self-supporting. Stop by the Juvenile Court to obtain the questionnaire.

8. What happens if I miss a court date?

Contact the Court Officer/Probation Officer assigned to your case or call the main juvenile court number. If you missed traffic court you will be sent one more notice to appear. If you fail to appear the second time a notice will be sent to the Department of Driver Services to suspend your license for failure to appear.

9. Do I have to attend traffic court or is it possible to pay the fine without having to come to court?

You cannot pay the fine in advance. The law requires that a juvenile must attend traffic court along with his or her parent or guardian

10. Does a parent have to accompany a juvenile to traffic court?

The law requires that a parent or guardian attend court with a juvenile who has received a traffic citation. Failure of a parent to appear may cause the court to issue a show cause order requiring the parent to give a reason for their failure to show.
