1. Present a proclamation designating the months of April and May 2012 for the Great American Cleanup and Jazz-Up Brunswick & the Golden Isles Campaign. (R. Strickland)
PUBLIC HEARING – Alcoholic Beverage License
Public Hearings will be limited to 30 minutes for each opposing side, with 5 minutes allocated to each individual speaker. Comments are to be limited to relevant information regarding your position and should avoid being repetitious. If your group has a spokesperson, please allow that individual to present your group’s position in the time allocated. Your cooperation in this process will be greatly appreciated.
2. Consider the issuance of a 2012 alcoholic beverage license for UMA Convenience Store, 6110 Altama Avenue, Brunswick, GA. The license is to sell malt beverages and wine, not for consumption on premises of a convenience store. Sunday sales permitted. This is a new license for 2012. 3. Consider the issuance of a 2012 off site alcoholic beverage catering license for Cloister Catering, 100 Cloister Drive, Sea Island, GA. The license is to sell distilled spirits, malt beverages and wine, for consumption on premises at offsite catering events. Sunday sales permitted. This is a new license for 2012. The 20-acre site is part of a 420-acre parcel and is located at the intersection of Highway 82 and Telephone House Road.
