Discussion and consideration of the following:
1. Presentation from Ron Ham, of First Georgia BioEnergy and the Chairman of the Brantley County Board of Commissioners, regarding the possibility of Glynn County and Brantley County partnering for a grant to tap into the natural gas station on US Hwy 82. (T. Sublett)
Mr. Ham proposed that Brantley County and Glynn County partner to tap into the natural gas station on Highway 82. The consensus of the Board was that it agreed with the concept of the grant application.
2. Discussion regarding the Glynn County Library Board of Trustees and the Three Rivers Regional Library System.
Members of both organizations were present at the meeting. The Board requested an audit of the finances and the hiring of a mediator to assist the groups in moving forward for the betterment of the community.
The Board did not hold an executive session during the meeting.
