Campground Policies and Fees

Experience nature at its finest in our beautiful, family-friendly park!  With 97 full hook-up RV sites and 24 primitive sites surrounded by a lovely canopy of trees, Blythe Island Regional Park offers campers a unique and relaxing way to enjoy the great outdoors!  The park features nature and biking trails, Lake Cindee (swimming, fishing, and kayaking), the Clarence Hilburn Fishing Pier on the South Brunswick River, boat landing and boat launch (hoist), playground, picnic pavilions, and the friendly "Blythe Island Bunnies."

Campers near and far love the peaceful natural environment and the spacious sites available to our guests.  Campground fees and policies are noted below.  Guests must adhere to campground rules for the safety and enjoyment of all.

NOTE:  A 3% card convenience fee is charged for payments made by credit/debit cards.

RV- FULL HOOK-UP SITES 

Lakeview Sites 1 - 13 Fees:

** fees are based on a maximum of 4 people

  • $45 per day (plus tax)
  • $270 per week (plus tax)
  • Additional person(s) over 3 years of age is $3 per day

BIRP campground 1 (2)RV Sites 14 - 97 Fees:
** includes 30 amp or 50 amp electric, water, and sewer
** Free cable and Wi-Fi
**fees are based on a maximum of 4 people

Park personnel will make every effort to accommodate specific requests for RV sites.  Please be advised that assigned RV sites are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances without notice.

  • $42.00 per day (plus tax)
  • $252.00 per week (plus tax)
  • *$675.00 for the first month (plus tax)
  • Monthly late fee:  $65
  • Additional person(s) over 3 years of age is $3 per day
  • Early check-in  fee (before 1pm):  $25
  • Late check-out fee (after 11am):  $25
  • Consecutive monthly rentals are not available during peak season (May-September)

***Each additional month will depend on the taxes charged.***   

To receive the weekly rate, you MUST reserve as a weekly rental.  You cannot rent several days in a row and later change to a weekly rental.  If you decide to stay a week, you may do so but must continue to pay the daily rate if the original rental began as a daily.  

Campground quiet time:  10pm to 7am
Three (3) day minimum required for all Holiday bookings. 
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a campsite.
Dump station fee: $10
Propane gas, bagged ice, and firewood are available for purchase at the office (as available).

Golf carts are welcome if driven by a licensed driver.  All roadways are under the jurisdiction of the Glynn County Police Department.  Local and state laws apply.  Golf cart drivers are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations.

PRIMITIVE CAMP SITES (24 Sites)

Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a campsite.
Fee is based on a maximum of 4 people.
Generators are not permitted in the primitive camping area.

POLICIES

Cancellations: 

One night's fee is charged for reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival date. 

Fee of $10 is charged for reservations cancelled more than 48 hours of arrival date.

Change fee of $5 charged for all reservation changes after the first change. 

Forfeiture of one night's fee will be applied for early departures. 

Site Occupancy:

To protect park resources, RV campsite occupancy is limited to ONE of the following combinations:

a. One motor home and one vehicle

b. One auto with tent trailer (or other type tent) and one auto

c. One auto with travel trailer and one auto

d. One truck camper and one auto

e. Two motorized vehicles

In addition to each of the above, one pup tent is authorized. One boat trailer per site is authorized, provided the site is large enough. 


Camping Areas:

All campers using these facilities are confined to specified camping areas using designated sites within developed camping areas. Camping between designated sites is prohibited. When camping areas are filled no other campers will be allowed to stay overnight in the campground.


Pets:

Pets are welcome, but they must be leashed and kept quiet inside RV after 10:00 pm. Pet owners are responsible to pick up their pet's waste.  Pets must not be left unattended outside at any time. No pets are allowed on swimming beach.

Horseback Rides:

In February 2022, Glynn County entered into a concession agreement with Golden Isles Carriage and Trail at Three Oaks Farm to offer horse-drawn carriage tours and horseback rides in the park year-round Tuesdays through Sundays.  To book a ride, visit the website at www.threeoaksfarm.org or call 912-635-9500.  For the safety of all park patrons, private/personal horseback rides in the park are only permitted in designated areas on Mondays.  Contact park staff at [email protected] for more information.

Clothes Line:

Clothes lines are prohibited in the park. Securing lines or rope to any type of vegetation for any reason is prohibited.

Off-Road Vehicles:

All off-road vehicles, including 4 wheelers and go carts are prohibited in the campground.

Check In / Check Out:

Check-in at 1pm.  Check-out at 11am.
