Note: Pre-qualification, unless otherwise specified in bid documents, applies only to certain "construction" type projects.

Pre-qualification Criteria

List of Qualified Vendors

As of September 1, 2005 Pre-qualifications are valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of receipt (and approval) by the Purchasing Agent.

Potential bidders who desire to apply for pre-qualification for horizontal project(s) may submit a valid, current Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) certification in lieu of the Glynn County pre-qualification application packet. Potential bidders who are not GDOT certified may submit a Glynn County pre-qualification application packet. Such pre-qualification packets will be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of receipt (and approval) by the Purchasing Agent or until the expiration date of the GDOT certification, whichever comes first.

Unless listed otherwise, approval of an application is for horizontal projects (road, drainage or bridge work accounting for 80% of the total project work) and construction type projects only.  At times, solicitations will require specific pre-qualification criteria which would be detailed in the solicitation itself, such as Marine Construction, Water Systems Improvements, etc.  The horizontal project/construction project pre-qualification will not cross over to the other areas of pre-qualification.  Your company would need to re-apply and submit a new application to be qualified under the different areas.

Vendors will be notified whether they are pre-qualified or disqualified via email.

Application packets should be mailed to the address listed above or emailed to the Purchasing Agent.
