Interactive Maps are powerful tools for presentations. The BATS MPO Interactive Maps is a collection of maps featuring various transportation projects and demographic information about the BATS planning area. These maps allow users to zoom in and out, pan around, identify specific features, turn on and of layers and query underlying data by topic or a specific indicator. These features allows for user to visualize the selected data and better evaluate the data presented.
The BATS MPO interactive maps consists of different map layers that allows for better understanding of the nature and distribution of the map data, which provides new insights and comparisons. It is easy to demonstrate how issue effects different populations and geographic areas. Users also have the ability to choose which layers of information to display on an interactive map for the isolation and examination of individual variables.
