Community Home Investment Program (CHIP) grant

The Georgia Department of Community Affairs recently awarded Glynn County a Community Home Investment Program (CHIP) grant. The CHIP program is a federally funded initiative managed by the states but provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Grant funds are to help low to moderate income families do home repairs and address code violations affecting the dwellings.

Please note that grant funds can only be used in the CHIP approved areas. Please click on the map to see the CHIP designated area. No property outside this map can receive assistance through this grant.

 If you are interested in applying for a home repair grant and your property is within the designated area, please download the attached documents below. 

Please complete, sign and include all required documents and drop off at 1725 Reynolds Street, Suite 300, Brunswick GA 31520. Funds are limited, please verify that your application is fully completed and signed as incomplete applications will not be processed. Questions?
