Toddler Fitness
- This program is typically held during the school-year at Selden Park Gym for youth ages 3-5. Each six-week session is one day per week for an hour. For info on the next session please contact the Selden Park admin office at 912-279-2800.

Home-school Physical Education
- This program is typically held during the school-year at Selden Park Gym for youth ages 6 to 12.  For info on the next session, contact the Selden Park admin office at 912-279-2800.

American Red Cross Babysitting Certification - Youth ages 11 to 14 years are taught important skills needed to be a babysitter! The course fee includes a handbook, emergency reference guide with CD-ROM and CPR mask.  This is a one-day course typically offer each spring and fall at the Mallery Park office on St. Simons Island.  The class is limited to 10 participants.  For more information, call the Mallery Park admin office at 912-279-2836. 

Tennis Lessons- Classes taught by St. Simons Tennis Academy tennis professionals lead by Sarah Black for ages 4-14.  Visit our department activities guide for class dates, times, and fees.

 Selden Aerobics-  

This is a fun and energetic class designed to help participants stay fit, strong, and healthy.  Exercises include cardio, step, abs, weights, toning and stretching.  This is an ongoing class that meets Monday through Thursday, 5:30pm-6:30pm, in the activity room at Selden Park.  Contact staff at Selden Park at 912-279-2800 for more class information.

Pickleball Clinics-

If you or someone you know is interested in instructing classes for Glynn County Recreation and Parks, contact the Recreation Services Division at [email protected] to discuss your idea.  Prospective instructors must provide a resume' with qualifications/credentials and references.  All potential instructors are required to successfully complete the County's Criminal History Background Check conducted by the Glynn County Sheriff's Office.  Program instructors are not employees of the County.  They are independent contractors providing a service to the County through an Instructor Agreement.
