Welcome to Glynn County's Purchasing Office. It is the policy of the Glynn County Purchasing Office to provide centralized acquisition management of needed materiel, goods and services at the lowest possible price consistent with the quality needed to provide the very best to the public and any office, department or agency of the County government. This goal should be met through procedures that ensure fair and ethical dealings with all potential suppliers and encourage open competition.

General Pre-qualification Information
As of September 1, 2005 Pre-qualifications are valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of receipt by the Purchasing Agent.
Horizontal projects (road, drainage or bridge work accounting of 80% of the total project work)
Potential bidders who desire to apply for pre-qualfication for horizontal project(s) may submit a valid, current GADOT certification in lieu of the Glynn County pre-qualication application packet. Potential bidders who are not GADOT certified may submit a Glynn County pre-qualificaiton application packet. Such pre-qualification packets will be valid for a perioid of three (3) years from the date of receipt (and approval) by the Purchasing Agent or until the expiration date of the GADOT certification whichever comes first.
Vendors will be notified whether they are prequalified or disqualified.
