To maintain the County’s overall financial stability through sound financial planning and management.  The Department is committed to the highest standards of accountability, accuracy, timeliness, professionalism and innovation in providing financial services that meet the expectations of those we serve.


Description
The Finance Department is responsible for safeguarding the assets of Glynn County through the development and implementation of sound financial policies and practices. The Department is responsible for budget, accounting, audit, fixed assets management, payroll processing, purchasing, Occupation Tax Registration and Alcoholic Beverage Licenses, and mail services.
