Professional Experience: Commissioner Thaw has been the Owner/Operator of Thaw’s Electric Service for the past 25 years. He has been Co-owner of Storage by the Sea for the last 8 years.

 

Civic and Community Service: Steering Committee Member-Golden Isles Career Academy; Member-Brunswick Rotary Club; Board of Directors- Two Way Sport Fishing Club; Past President-Frederica Club.

Civic and Community Experience: Board Member (Secretary)-Coastal Area Community Action Authority; Board Member-Chamber of Commerce; Board Member-Community in Schools; 14 Black Men of Glynn; Chairman-Grace United Methodist Church Council

Personal: Commissioner Hogan grew up in Southeast Georgia on a farm, but has lived in Glynn County for approximately 40 years. He currently resides on St. Simons Island with his wife of 46 years, Libby. Don and Libby have one daughter, Nickolous, who lives in Savannah, GA.
