1. When do I or the defendant go to court?

Misdemeanor cases must first be accused by the Solicitor’s Office, then filed in the Criminal Division of the State Court Clerk's Office. After cases are filed, docketed and given computer generated accusation numbers, they are processed, scheduled for court hearings.
